Makhmutov Beken Lesbekuly was born on December 4, 1984. During 2002-2006 studied at the Faculty of History of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (520330). In 2006–2008 received a master’s degree in political science from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. (6N0502). In 2009-2012 received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai (6D050200). Theme of the dissertation: “Political management of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation: a comparative analysis”. He achieved good results in his research work and published over 40 scientific articles. He began his career as a teacher in 2009 in Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai. For all the time he worked in this university, he held the posts of assistant to the rector, was the deputy for scientific affairs and international relations of the director of the Institute of History and Law. From 2016 to 2017 he was the head of the “Pedagogical Sciences” department of the University of Almaty. From November 15, 2017 is the dean of the School of Pedagogy of the University of Almaty. From November 5, 2019 is the dean of the School of Economics and Law of the University of Almaty.
